“Delicious” goes hand in hand with “healthy” 😋🥗🍎
In the fall, fruits and vegetables are the tastiest. The Smiling Squirrels got to know the names of fruits and vegetables, their appearance and smell, and which dishes can be prepared with them. We learned about the benefits of eating fruit and vegetables and how they help us to be big and healthy because they have lots of vitamins! Students took part in an activity called “I know what I eat.” They had to recognize fruits and vegetables through touch, smell, and taste. Everyone agrees that raw onions were the least tasty The children made an art work in which, using plasticine, they prepared a full pot of vegetable soup. At the end, the Smiling Squirrels had a great time to the song “Little Red Apple”.
