Modern teaching techniques
At Cracow International School, we use modern methods for effective learning. Find out more about them:
👉 The process of acquiring knowledge and developing skills is based on the application of problem and project methods. This means that students do not get ready answers, but they are inspired to constantly search for them in various sources of information.
👉 Various IT tools are used during educational classes, thanks to which students learn about their possibilities and advantages. Thus, they learn the sensible use of modern technologies in the process of acquiring knowledge.
👉 Most of the lessons are provided in English or bilingually, which allows the development of not only competences related to the subject, but also language skills.
👉 Our students are not passive or bored. Thanks to the use of active methods during the lessons, they work in groups, perform experiments, experience, discuss, ask questions and seek answers.
👉 Teachers use feedback based assessment and elements of formative assessment. Students learn about their strengths and weaknesses, are inspired and encouraged to take self-reflection, which positively affects their motivation to learn.
